Gavin Kennedy is a lifelong story-teller who has focused his curiosity, practical, academic and artistic background on writing, photography and video for commercial, non-commercial clients, and creative enterprise projects.
Kennedy, who grew up on Canada’s west coast splitting time between mountain adventures and urban life in Vancouver, has a degree in Political Science (University of British Columbia); certificate in documentary filmmaking (Langara College), and studied international relations at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia and Spanish at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Spain. He has lived and traveled throughout the Americas and Europe, including a 10,500 kilometer trek by bicycle from Vancouver, Canada, to Quito, Ecuacor. He is a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces (reserves) and part-time Whistler-Blackcomb and Seymour Mountain Ski Patroller medical first responder.
